I don't know if blogs can be bleats - but the past few weeks have me bleating a bit!
One team of 10 asked what we could do for a budget of $100.00 - that's not per person - that's total! Another team of 12 had a budget of $35.00 per person - of which $15.00 was earmarkde for drinks - $240.00 total! What are these people's / companies expectations!
I know that times are tough, but you can only just go to the movies for $20.00 - let alone expect a professionally facilitated team event.
We've added into our website a 'What's Your Budget' section to help pre-manage people's ideas on what events cost - so far it's worked about 75% of the time. That's fairly good really.
Meanwhile, we continue to work hard to get bookings and get through these tough times.
I'm hoping that expectations change! And soon!
